  • Denbigh High School JROTC Cadets Thinh Sam and Amaya Washington were recently recognized by Delegate Shelly A. Simonds of the Virginia General Assembly and Virginia House of Delegates for their outstanding academic excellence and achievement. Cadet Thinh Sam, who maintains an impressive 4.33 GPA, and Cadet Amaya Washington, who holds a 3.91 GPA, have demonstrated exceptional performance in their studies while balancing the rigorous demands of JROTC.
