On Saturday, May 10, 2025, Army JROTC Viking Battalion in Woodbridge Virginia won first place for a second year in a row at South Lakes High School at their annual Sports Day competition. Events included the Physical Fitness Test, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Kickball, Leadership Reaction Course and the Academic Team Competition. Woodbridge dominated the events which included seven other JROTC units from Virginia. The battalion was led by our new leadership Battalion Commander Paola Pavon and Command Sergeant Major Kylie Saburova.
