On the 4th of December, 2024, the Wiesbaden High School Warrior Battalion supported the Wiesbaden community recycling center by helping to stock the shelves and organize a gift giving center. At this event, cadets assisted the reuse center on Clay Kaserne by setting up donated items, organizing them for shoppers, and wrapping gifts. As cadets continued organizing donations, we welcomed members of our community who then came by to pick out gifts for others. When asked about the significance of helping our community during the holidays and why he takes the time to do it, C/SSG Preston Blake says, “It is important to help our community, especially during the holidays, so we can help the families that can’t supply gifts and contribute to making the world a better place.”
