The first Cadet Raider Challenge conducted by Leadership cadets was held this past Saturday at the SEHS Raider Course.  This is the first time Leadership cadets competed in a Raider Challenge.  About 60 cadets competed.  They were from: Hadley, Hamilton, Marshall, CMA, PVMS, Mead and Wells.  They ran the Obstacle Course and at the conclusion competed in a tug-of-war.  At the start of the day the temperature was 36 degrees but that was no obstacle.  Much enthusiasm throughout the day.  Concept and plan came from Sergeant Clay, Hamilton Leadership Instructor.  It was a good idea!

Winning teams were:

Varsity:
1st Place-PVMS
2nd Place-Hamilton
3rd Place-CMA

Junior Varsity
1st Place-CMA
2nd and 3rd Place-PVMS

Tug-of-War: CMA.  At the conclusion of the Tug-of-War the CMA cadets competed against the high school JROTC cadets supporting the event-and won!

It was a very good day.  Much thanks to the Southeast cadre and cadets for their outstanding support, and to Sgt Clay for developing a successful plan.
