In August of 2023, Cadet Sandoval-Talaro and Cadet Corpuz participated for the first time in the Drill Warrior University ODC. The Competition is an Open Drill Competition that includes professional and amateur drillers from throughout the Nation. Our Cadets represented the Royal Hawaiian Guard and Waipahu in this event. We are extremely proud to announce that Cadets Corpuz and Sandoval-Talaro took first place for the tandem event beating out professional drillers from across the Nation. Cadet Corpuz and Sandoval are both Juniors at Waipahu High School and members of the JROTC Drill Team “Marauders Own”. Aloha ʻolua Marauders Aloha ‘olua!
