Waimea High School Army JROTC Reign in Top 3 in the Region for Brigade Challenge

In May 2023, Waimea High School Menehune Battalion Cadets participated in the U.S. Army JROTC 8th Brigade Fitness Challenge, which evaluated male, female, and co-ed teams’ performance in push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, long jump, high jump, and one-mile run from entries throughout the 9-U.S. state and territory region.  The Menehune male team achieved first place, while the female team won second place.  The Menehune Battalion is proud of our Fitness Challenge Teams’ commitment to excellence and bringing great credit to our tradition-rich program.
