On Friday, November 21, Vashon High School’s Army JROTC program celebrated Veterans Day by hosting a luncheon for veterans. The event was a tremendous success, allowing veterans to share their invaluable experiences with our cadets. We had the honor of welcoming 20 veterans from the St. Louis area and a veteran from Jackson, MS. Together, they represented over 250 years of combined military service.
We are grateful for the tremendous support from our school staff and administration as we honored our distinguished guests, including State Representative Stephanie Boykins and members of various local veterans organizations. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of our Veterans Day luncheon.
