We are so happy and proud to share Mia’s appointment to USMA at Westpoint with all of you. When we decided to apply for the Magnet Program at J.L. Mann and the New Tech Program, some of our friends thought we were crazy for committing to the long daily drive from our home near Furman, close to TR. But now, as Mia is in her final semester, we couldn’t be more grateful for that decision.
From the moment Mia discovered JROTC, there was no looking back. The quality of education, the incredible learning environment, and the way she has flourished and thrived have exceeded all our expectations.
You have done more than just teach; you have inspired and been an advocate for Mia. By sharing not only your expertise but also your personal experiences, you have profoundly shaped Mia’s path. As parents of an only child, we could never have recreated this unique community and atmosphere on our own. This is truly a testament to the power of public education and what an equalizer it can be.
Thank you for going above and beyond to nurture and challenge Mia and students like her. Your dedication has made all the difference, and we are forever grateful!
