THOMASVILLE, GA — The Thomas County Central High School Army JROTC hosted a Signing Ceremony for Jack Emmett on Wednesday afternoon. Jack accepted his appointment to attend the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland. Cadet Colonel Emmett is currently the Regimental Commander and the program’s first cadet to receive a service academy appointment. In addition to the Naval Academy, Cadet Emmett also received an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He will attend the Naval Academy to pursue his goal of serving as a Navy/Marine Corps aviator.
