The Pueblo County High School Army JROTC from 5th Brigade hosted its annual Veterans Day Assembly on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 at Pueblo County High School (PCHS). The Veterans Day Assembly honors those who have honorably served in the Armed Forces and specifically recognizes Vietnam Veterans who are graduates of PCHS in addition to Veterans in the community from WWII – Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. This year’s guest speaker was COL Rodney McCutcheon, Commander of the Army Chemical Depot in Pueblo, CO. This annual event serves as a reminder that we should all be thankful for those who have honorably served and answered our country’s call. The event also strengthens the JROTC program as the Cadets learn what it means to serve and to become better citizens of the United States.
