Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) John Tao, Senior Army Instructor (SAI) of East Union High School Army JROTC, shares the following:

“The East Union Army JROTC Raider team successfully defended its title as State champion for 7th time in 2023 Fresno Raider Challenge hosted by Fresno State University Army ROTC Bulldog Battalion on Saturday, 11 February 2023. Multiple top teams from across California attended this year’s competition. Lancer cadets achieved great success after two months of tough training.  Many cadet’s families also attended the event to cheer. This is one of the most prestigious Raider competitions in California. We truly appreciate Fresno State University Army ROTC Bulldog Battalion for hosting this event.”
