On Saturday, February 4th, 2023, the top 8 ranked Army JROTC Cadets competed for 1st place in Sporter and the top 8 ranked Army JROTC Cadets competed in Precision. 1st place in individual Sporter was Cadet Naqkara Mckinney, Austin E. Lathrop HS, with 1176.3 points, 2nd place in individual Sporter was Cadet Alyx Martin, Lebanon HS, with 1157.2 points, and 3rd place was Cadet Alivia Griffiths, Lebanon HS, with 1153.4 points. 1st place in individual Precision was Cadet Tahirah Williams, Fountain Fort Carson HS, with 1267.2 points, 2nd place was Cadet Courtney Allison, Fountain Fort Carson HS, with 1260.9 points, and 3rd place was Cadet Chloe Baker, East Denver HS, with 1257.4 points. 1st place in team Sporter was Lebanon HS, 2nd place was Spanish Springs HS, and 3rd place was Pueblo County HS. 1st place in team Precision was Fountain Fort Carson HS, 2nd place in team Precision was Walla Walla HS, and 3rd place in team Precision was Fountain Fort Carson HS. Congratulations to the winners and job well done by everyone who competed this weekend. JROTC Air Rifle National Championship selectees will be announced after the next two JROTC regional air rifle championships finish next weekend.
