Our cadet Chain of Command is the core of our leadership here in the Bear Battalion. Without it we would not be able to do the things we do for our school and community. The Battalion has supported many school and community events. First, we honored the 9/11 victims during our annual Welcome Back Event. Our Assist team has maintained our relationship with the Tuscany Villa Assisted Living Facility. Cadets spend time with veterans, engaging in fun activities such as hosting scrabble sessions. The JROTC Program has also worked with other programs such as the Key Club to host Meals of Hope, packaging hundreds of thousands of meals, helping to feed the hungry in Collier County. Our Raider Challenge County Competition hosted by our school came in first place mixed team overall. Our drill and ceremony team competed in the County where they brought home many trophies. Both our Raider and Drill teams went on to states, having outstanding performances, bringing home trophies. Our Rifle team has competed against all other schools in the county. Our Flag Detail team ensures that the American, state, and school flag is presented proudly every school day. And our Honor Guard, which consists of both Sabre and color guard, presents the colors proudly in many special evets. We have our Battalion traditions including our Winter Awards Ceremony, Dining In, and our End of The Year Awards.
