CHARLOTTE, NC – Cadets from Palisades High School Army JROTC Puma Battalion assisted in setting up and tearing down River Gate Elementary annual Fall Festival this autumn. During the festival, the Cadets guided cars to the overflow parking lot. They also sold cotton candy and popcorn to the kids at the festival. A massive thanks to the River Gate Elementary Parent Teacher Association for providing us with food and drinks for all of our Cadets and allowing us to assist in the annual festival.
Overall the event was a success and the Cadets enjoyed it. I had the opportunity to interview one of the Cadets who participated in the festival.
“I enjoyed it, it was fun, the staff and kids were all very friendly and kind, and I would definitely do it again!”
