The JROTC Rifle Team dominated at the JROTC Air Rifle Service Championship in Anniston, Alabama, proving once again why they’re the team to beat!
First Team – CHAMPIONS! ? The first team secured an outstanding 1st Place finish, showcasing incredible skill and teamwork with a total score of 4,297! Valeria Alvarado shot an impressive 1,099, made it to finals, and clinched 2nd Place Individual Overall! Lizeth Dominguez delivered an excellent 1,071, earning 17th Place Individual Overall. Miguel Gonzalez shot a strong 1,069, securing 22nd Place Individual Overall. Ilene Rodriguez contributed solidly to the team’s success, shooting a 1,058 and finishing 35th individual
Second Team – SILVER MEDALISTS! ? The second team put up an incredible fight, shooting a 4,294, just 3 points behind First Team to secure 2nd place! Julian Seda shot a fantastic 1,094, made it to finals, and secured 4th Place Individual Overall! Chelsea Saunders shot a strong 1,071, securing 19th Place Individual Overall. Tiffany Martinez put up a solid 1,055, claiming 40th individual place Overall. Alyssa Harris fired off a 1,074, locking in 15th Place Overall.
Third Team – Holding It Down! ? The third team showed grit and determination, shooting a 4,150 overall! Securing a 8th place team finish. This team consisted of Logan Sham shot a 1,055, achieving 42nd individual place. Malasia Simmons secured 40th Place Individual Overall with a score of 1,051. Jesslit Bailey-Garcia shot an impressive 1,044, finishing 66th Overall. Dexiga Adrian crushed his personal best both days, shooting an outstanding 1,000 and placing 150th Overall! On to the Next! ??
A HUGE congratulations to the entire team for their hard work, dedication, and well-deserved success! ?? First and Second Team are now heading to Camp Perry in March to compete in the 2025 Nationals! Stay tuned—this squad is just getting started!
