We are proud to announce that the North Brunswick High School JROTC Rifle Team made national history at the 2025 JROTC CMP National Championship by becoming one of the first programs ever to qualify and bring two teams to compete nationally. This incredible achievement highlights the depth of talent, hard work, and dedication within our Scorpion Battalion. Our primary team earned an outstanding 2nd-place Overall finish, competing against the top JROTC programs in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines from across the country. Not only that, but North Brunswick officially secured the #1 ranking among all Army JROTC programs nationwide—a testament to our cadets’ elite skill and discipline.
Individual Highlights:
- Valeria Alvarado made individual finals and finished 2nd in the nation earning her a silver medal-a remarkable accomplishment showcasing her focus and precision.
- Miguel Gonzalez and Ilene Rodriguez earned their Excellence-in-Competition (EIC) Badges, marking them among the best marksmen in the nation.
This historic moment for our program not only reflects the strength of our cadets but also places North Brunswick High School in the national spotlight as a leader in JROTC marksmanship. We extend our deepest gratitude to our instructors, coaches, families, and the entire Scorpion community for their support. The hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed by our cadets have made our school proud.
