On December 3rd, 2022, the Garinger JROTC and three other Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools JROTC programs came together to participate in The Mint Hill Christmas Parade. Our cadets were able to enjoy this event in many different ways such as fellowship with other programs and speak with elementary school kids. This was the first parade for a few cadets while others were able to enjoy their third parade of this year. This event was also helpful for us to be able to have more experience and be able to share this with cadets who were not able to attend. Many of our cadet staff were excited for the outcome of the amount of participants and support from parents and parade coordinators. This eventful day was very memorable especially for all our senior cadets and might be their last parade. They had fun marching doing cadences with our battalion and enjoying the food and the games.
