MIAMI, FL — Miami Northwestern Senior High School (MNWSHS) JROTC was honored at the Annual One Blood Awards Luncheon on April 6, 2023. Out of all the public schools in Miami Dade County (The 4th largest School District in the United States with 18 Army JROTC; 3 Air Force JROTC; 4 Navy JROTC and 1 Coast Guard JROTC) MNWSHS JROTC was presented with the award for the Highest Percentage of Participating High Schools and For Outstanding Service and Dedication to the Lifesaving Blood Drive Program in the Central Region. “The Cadets at Miami Northwestern are always striving to be better, do better and help out their community as much as they can.” Stated the AI – SFC Oriol, US Army Retired.
