The Muscogee County School District, Columbus, GA – JROTC Lighthouse Brigade Cadets participated in the 2022 Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (GMVHOF) on November 5, 2022, at Saint Luke, Ministry Center. The Lighthouse Brigade cadets consisted of 15 service members across all Branches of the Service for “Valor, Service, and Achievement”.

The oldest inductee this year was 102 years young that served honorably in World War II. The Lighthouse Brigade had seven (7) cadets that served as inductee escorts: Lemmon Turner, Kendrick HS; McKay Carroll, Columbus HS; Sebastian Quintanilla, Northside HS; Leah Becker, Columbus HS; Paarul Nayyar, Columbus HS; Nevaeh Owen, Columbus HS; Makayla Gallant, Columbus HS.
