The year 2024-2025 has been an eventful year for the Lakewood Ranch High School Mustang Battalion as the end the year with a smashing win at States. The win at the State Championship completes an undefeated season for the cadets at Lakewood Ranch. Florida State Orienteering competitions have representation from all branches of the Armed Forces, Lakewood Ranch has been successfully representing the Army in this Joint force competition since 2015.

Novice: 1st place C/SGT Sebastin Stokes, 2nd place C/CPL Jake Fellin.
Intermediate: 2nd place C/SFC Haley Smith
Advanced: 3rd place C/CPT Jack Crosbie
