The Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) is set to host the “Lakewood Raider Roundup” Competition on March 1st, 2025, at Lakewood High School. The event, which will feature over 120 high school JROTC Cadets, is designed to test their teamwork, leadership, physical fitness, and strategic thinking. The competition includes demanding events such as the 3K Team Run, Rope Bridge, Cross Country Rescue, and Physical Team Test, which simulate real-world military operations. The event aims to reinforce the core values of JROTC, such as teamwork, citizenship, and personal responsibility. Teams from various New Jersey high schools are expected to compete in hopes of earning the title of Raiders Champion. The competition is centered around discipline, endurance, and camaraderie, with spectators, friends, and family invited to support the cadets. The event is free to attend, with concessions, T-shirts, and other event-specific items available for the public to enjoy.
