A group of cadets, from the James Madison High School battalion, volunteered at the small animal rescue in University City, San Diego known as WEE Companions. About twenty cadets showed up and many of them were able to experience the values of hard work, teamwork, leadership, and the fuzzy fur of many small animals! Many cadets also repurposed and packaged items to be sold to the pet owners community, and the shop owners couldn’t anymore grateful to dedicate their Saturday! The Battalion united as a family and even served the community in the process as well, and they are all commended for their hard work and commitment.
