Irvington High School Army JROTC participated in the Annual Fall Naturalization Ceremony on 28 September 2023, held in conjunction with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and Morristown National Park, NJ. The Irvington JROTC Cadets escorted 30 of the newest American Citizens in the George Washington Museum as they took their oath to their new nation.

The program will perform this patriotic act again on 10 October 2023 during the Naturalization Ceremony located at the Waterfalls in Paterson, NJ as 100 immigrants earn the title of an American citizen. This a true example of the Army JROTC mission statement – To Motivate Young People to Be Better Citizens!
