Independence High School recently hosted their annual Eagle Battalion JROTC Military Ball at Embassy Suites in Franklin, Tennessee on Saturday, March 25th. After the presentation of the Colors and toasts, attendees honored Prisoners of War and those still Missing in Action with a memorial ceremony. The guest speaker, Mr. Tom Brown, CEO of Interview Coaching Solutions, provided remarks where he praised Indy JROTC Cadets for their resilience and adaptability during the global pandemic. After dinner and an awards presentation, the formal portion of the evening concluded with the retirement of the Colors followed by the presentation and crowning of the military ball court and an evening of dancing. Major Jay Massey and Sergeant First Class Eddie Slusser hosted the event for cadets and their guests to enjoy a time-honored tradition.
