The Howard High School Army JROTC Lions battalion from 4th Brigade participated in the Veterans Day parade held at Merriweather on November 12th honoring all veterans. On the day of the parade, many Cadets took part in this great opportunity to march in this year’s Veterans Day parade. Gaining a new experience and putting their knowledge of marching to the test.

At the Veterans Day Parade, many other organizations were marching as well such as the Howard High School cheer team, and many Veterans. Many of our Cadets were able to see a World War II jeep; and marched with other schools such as Altholton and Oakland Mills. Our Cadets marched from the Merriweather post pavilion to Whole Foods, honoring and remembering all veterans.

“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude.” .
Harry S. Truman
We honor and remember all Veterans who have sacrificed their time and lives for our country.
