Houghton and Calumet High Schools Army JROTC Rappelling Event

On 30 SEP 2023, 33 Cadets from Michigan’s Houghton and Calumet high schools participated in a rappelling event hosted by the two school’s Army JROTC programs at Silver Mountain, MI. The participating Cadets previously completed the 30’ tower certification and demonstrated their skills and personal courage by rappelling down the 70’ black basalt face of the mountain.
