On Saturday, October 23 Hopewell High School made its mark on the annual Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools JROTC Field Day hosted by Hough High School. This was a highly competitive event with 21 schools participating including four different branches of JROTC. Cadets participated in nine different events such as the 800-meter dash, 4×100 relay, standing long jump, and more. In the days prior to field day, Hopewell cadets made sure to work hard during the practices: All of their hard work paid off, as Hopewell’s boys and girls teams both won first place. Way to go Hopewell Titans!!!
