Congratulations to Second Lieutenant Delorv’a Wilson on her graduation and commissioning in the United States Army! She attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, which has a mission to “educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets. Each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, and Country.

These graduates are prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as a commissioned officer in the United States Army”. Second Lieutenant Wilson majored in International History and had the opportunity to travel on academic trips to France, Washington DC, Ghana, and Rwanda. She was also part of the combative team during her last two years at West Point.

Second Lieutenant Wilson’s branch of service will be Transportation, and she will attend Basic Officer Leaders Course at Ft. Gregg-Adams Virginia. Upon graduation, she will be assigned to Grafenwöhr Germany.

Second Lieutenant Delorv’a Wilson graduated from Hillcrest High School in the Dallas Independent School District. During her four years as a JROTC Cadet, she rose through the ranks and earned the position of battalion commander. She was also awarded the title of “Gold Cadet of the Camp” during her junior year, which is a testament to her unflinching character.
