Never Forget
On September 11, 2023, the Garfield High School Army JROTC in collaboration with student leadership (ASB), the Garfield HS band Brass Ensemble, faculty and administration, and volunteers from the Garfield Parent Center, gathered to commemorate one of the nation’s greatest tragedies.

Over twenty-two years ago, the United States was shaken by the collapse of the Twin Towers by the hand of 19 militants in association with the extremist group Al-Qaeda, resulting in over 3,000 casualties and leaving the country in mourning.

This year, the Bulldog Battalion welcomed, the Director of Army Instructions: JROTC Los Angeles Headquarters, members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1013, Marine Corps League, Field Representative County Supervisor Hilda Solis’s Office, US Marine Recruiting, Navy Recruiting, and the East Los Angeles Sherriff’s Department. “Let Us Never Forget.”
