After an intense battle of wit, the Army JROTC program from Gadsden City High School has emerged as the champion of the 2024 Joint Service Academic Bowl held June 21-24 in Washington. Their win ends a 12-year drought for the Army Academic Teams.

After a year of studying and advancing through numerous competitions, the top JROTC programs representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard met on the national stage to determine a winner in a Jeopardy-style competition.

This win marks the end of the 2024 Junior Leadership and Academic Bowl which showcases the leadership excellence and broad-subject knowledge of these hard-studying high school students.

Congratulations to all the teams who made it to Washington this year! We’re looking forward to another great event next summer. Happy studying!

Congrats to our Army JROTC Academic Bowl winners:
