The Fort Hamilton High School Army JROTC Color Guard presented the nation’s colors at the New York Brooklyn Nets’ home basketball game against the Boston Celtics on November 13, 2024. The Tiger Battalion Cadets (from left to right) Cadet Jake Mo, Cadet Nathan Chen, Cadet Victoria Lizama, Adrianna Guerrero, and Cadet Luis Idrizi all attended and presented colors at the game.
This was a unique opportunity for the selected cadets, including sophomore and freshmen Cadets, to showcase their color guard skills in front of thousands of fans. Cadet Guerrero, a freshman who participated as a backup, performed exceptionally well in her first significant color guard event. “I was very grateful that we were invited to this,” said Cadet Adrianna Guerrero. “It was a fun experience.”
