On April 24th, 2024, JROTC Cadets from the Forest Park Senior High School JROTC Program welcomed Major General Munera, the U.S. Army Cadet Command Commanding General and responsible for all of the ROTC Program in the United States (1,700 colleges and 3,390 high schools). Each Cadet did an astounding job with the preparation and conduct of the meeting and the positive interaction with the General. Toward the end of the meeting, Major General Munera presented 5 Cadets with a “Challenge Coin,” a high and honorable award to be given. The coins were given to Cadets for their outstanding contributions to the program, their dedication, and their overall worthiness for the award.
