St. Bonaventure University ROTC hosted Dunkirk Secondary School JROTC to foster the “One ROTC” partnership between the schools. The senior ROTC Cadets planned and ran events at the University’s Field Leader Reaction Course for the JROTC Cadets on May 3, 2024. After the event, the senior Cadets treated the Cadets from Dunkirk, NY to lunch at the university’s dining hall, where they discussed their experiences in ROTC and answered questions the JROTC Cadets had regarding college and ROTC. After the event, the students wrote a reflection on using the different leadership styles to negotiate the obstacles.
