On Sunday, June 8, 2025, cadets from Denbigh High School JROTC played a distinguished role in the school’s graduation ceremony at the Hampton Coliseum, embodying pride, discipline, and service throughout the milestone event.
The ceremony opened with the Denbigh High School Color Guard presenting the Colors. Their synchronized march and professional bearing established a solemn tone and honored the tradition that connects the JROTC program with respect, patriotism, and leadership.
In addition to their ceremonial role, cadets acted as event ushers—welcoming guests, guiding families and faculty to seating, and maintaining a respectful flow throughout the venue. Their calm presence and situational leadership were crucial in ensuring a well-organized celebration for graduates and attendees.
Their presence was a visual representation of the values taught through Army JROTC: integrity, citizenship, and service. As they supported the Class of 2025’s final high school moments, cadets demonstrated the maturity and poise of future leaders shaped by experience and mentorship.
Denbigh High School proudly recognizes the efforts of its JROTC cadets and celebrates their contribution to a ceremony that honored achievement, tradition, and the enduring spirit of community.
