On Friday, December 13th, 2024, Cadets from Delsea Regional High School’s Army JROTC Service Learning Project Team completed its 25th Annual “Toys For Tots” toy collection drive. Started in 1999 by then-AI 1SG(R) Ed Walls, this event is conducted annually in conjunction with the local Marine Corps League, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots campaign, the Delsea Regional School District, local elementary and grade schools, and individuals. They collected over 300 donated toys in this year’s effort!
The Crusader Battalion’s SLP Team traveled to the Toys For Tots warehouse in Wenonah, NJ to drop off toys, then bagged up toys for local families in need this holiday season! These goodie bags will be distributed after school on Monday, December 16th at Delsea Regional High School. It was a great way to get into the holiday spirit, and put some smiles on local children’s faces! Many thanks to all of the local school administrators, teachers, staff and students for their donations! We offer a special thank you to Mr. Kevin Baisch and his wife Shannon, the Gloucester County Toys For Tots campaign coordinators for their support! Happy Holidays to all!
