Over the weekend, the Camdenton High School Army JROTC Aerial Drone team participated in the Aerial Drone National Championship held in Jackson, Mississippi. Our team performed exceptionally well and won 1st place in Flight Operations for their outstanding skills in flight planning, organization and record keeping.
Additionally, our team made it to the final 4 round in head-to-head competition, where they were defeated by the team that ultimately won the championship in the final round. It is worth noting that this is the first year our program participated in Aerial Drone competitions, making this achievement all the more remarkable.
Cadet names: Seth Burmeister, Abigail Pittman, Christopher Lopez.
