Story by: SFC (Ret.) Larry Sisemore

Katie Allmond won a National Female Title as a sophomore and as a Senior. As a senior, not only did Katie win a National title in the female division, she also had a high enough score to place her 8th in the finals in the male category.  Katie decided to attend Dalton State to become a teacher and is now one of my assistant coaches for the Tiger Guard Drill Team! She will be back at Nationals this year to compete in the World Drill Championships which is the professional division of drill. She will have a solo and will also have a tandem with one of my other coaches and Two time Army Nationals solo runner up Joe Langston.
