On Wednesday, 7 May 2025 the Brackenridge High School JROTC Color Guard supported the San Antonio Independent School District – Student Film Festival in the BHS Auditorium. This was an event held to honor and recognize the exemplary productions of Student Film Makers across the District. Students from the elementary level through high school were all recognized in a number of categories to include Story Creation, Fiction Short Film, Public Service Announcements, and best Documentary. The event was well attended by students, parents, faculty and staff, as well as Senior District Leadership. The JROTC Cadets received countless compliments for their poise, precision and professionalism while presenting the Colors as part of the opening ceremony.
