On Friday, 16 May 2025, Brackenridge High School JROTC hosted its annual JROTC Awards Ceremony. The event had outstanding attendance by Cadets, parents, family, friends, as well as campus & community leaders. The Cadets were recognized for their daily contributions throughout the school year with a variety of certificates, awards, and medals. In addition, the JROTC Parent Support Club Officers were recognized for their leadership and volunteer efforts in supporting the JROTC program.

To name a few of the countless awards that were presented – a $4,000.00 memorial scholarship, a 4-year ROTC scholarship, the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the American Legion medal, VFW award, and the Sons of the American Revolution medal and ribbon.



The ceremony concluded with a Change of Command ceremony, granting an opportunity thank the previous Battalion Command team for their leadership, and announce the Cadet that will lead the Battalion for the upcoming school year.
