Lenape High School JROTC Presents Junior Achievement Sessions to the Students of Hillside Elementary School.
After ten days of intense preparation, seventy Cadets from Lenape High School in Medford, New Jersey completed their Service Learning Project at Hillside Elementary School. The project was the presentation of financial literacy classes provided by Junior Achievement. Kindergarten through 4th-grade classes received lessons on saving money, making good financial decisions, and starting a business. In return, the Cadets received an invaluable experience where they could see all their planning and preparation unfold. Also, as the facilitators of the Junior Achievement sessions, the Cadets had the opportunity to engage with the community, develop their public speaking skills, and increase their confidence level. The Junior Achievement program offers an unequaled learning experience for everyone involved!
