5th Brigade Hosted its Annual Rocky Mountain Western Classic Drill Meet on Saturday, April 20, 2024, located in Denver, Colorado. There were a host of schools that competed in this event from all over the country including a couple of schools outside the United States. This competition has truly grown in size and quality of competitors over the last several years. This year’s event included the Armed Division, Unarmed Division, 5280 Separate Color Guard, and a host of precision exhibition categories.

West Creek High School Army JROTC competed in all events including Armed, Unarmed, 5280 Color Guard, and individual exhibition categories. While this year’s primary goal for West Creek was to defend its Unarmed title it won last year, it was always a desire to win the “Big Cup”. After all the tallying of scores and performances from many great schools, West Creek took the Highest Honors by placing First in the Unarmed Division and Winning the Overall Norwich Commander’s Competition Cup.
