The Irvington High School Army JROTC Raider team competed against 15 schools representing JROTC programs from the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, and U.S. Air Force. Irvington H.S. JROTC was the sole Army JROTC program battling programs as far as Illinois, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts.


Our Raider team under the leadership of C/2LT David Onyegbule and C/1SG Vanessa Jean the program earned 6 medals. They won 3 gold and 3 silver medals participating in the events of the U.S. Marine Corps Youth Physical Fitness Program:
Gold – Sharifa Trocard, David Onyegbule, Samy Toussaint
Silver – David Onyegbule, Samy Toussaint, and Davensky Jean-Baptiste.
