On 9-10 FEB 24 the JROTC Western Regional Air Rifle Competition was held at the Mountain Expo Center in Sandy, UT. This competition, hosted and executed by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), facilitated the regional competition that saw 26 Army JROTC teams compete in the Sporter and Precision level in both the team and individual competition. Some of the teams that won or placed increased their chances of qualifying for the Air Rifle National Championship at Camp Perry, OH on 21-23 MAR 24. This extremely competitive event displayed several close matches between Cadets from across 3rd, 5th, and 8th brigades. The winners of the competition are as follows:

Team Precision: Fountain Fort Carson HS

Team Sporter: Spanish Springs HS

Individual Sporter: Benjamin Beaubien-Spanish Springs HS
