TROJAN Battalion JROTC Raider Meet at Olympic High School on February 3, 2024 in Charlotte, NC

CHARLOTTE, NC – The Olympic High School Army JROTC Raider Team hosted and competed in the Trojan Battalion Raider Competition on Saturday, February 3, 2024, in Charlotte, N.C. The Olympic Trojan Raiders Meet aims to facilitate a district-wide event for JROTC Raider teams within the Charlotte Mecklenburg area. This is the first Raider competition Olympic High School has hosted in six years.

The Raider Team has logged several hours practicing and preparing for this event for several months. Events include the 5K team run, the litter carry, the rope bridge, the HUMVEE pull, and the physical fitness competition. The Olympic High School Army JROTC Raider Traditional Team won second place overall by winning first place in 3 out of the 5 events. The event was an overall success.

Their next competition will be the Lee County Raider Meet on March 2, 2024. This “Next Level” event provides an opportunity for this team to qualify for the National Championships for a second straight year.
