Sweetwater Invitational Drill Meet

Hoover High School Army JROTC from 8th Brigade competed in its 3rd year at the Annual Sweetwater All Services Invitational Drill Meet hosted by the Sweetwater Marine Corps JROTC program. Hoover High School continued to place in the top 3 of the Overall Sweepstakes trophies. There were 20 schools from southern California that competed in the drill meet. Hoover had 5 teams compete: Varsity Color Guard (4th Place), Junior Varsity Color Guard (4th Place), Freshmen Color Guard (2nd Place), Novice Armed Drill Team (3rd Place), Varsity Armed Drill Team (2nd Place), and Junior Varsity Unarmed Drill Team (3rd Place). Overall: 3rd Place Sweepstakes
