Hopewell Titan Battalion participates in the Huntersville and Charlotte Veterans Day Parades

On Saturday, November 11th, the 4th Brigade Army JROTC Cadets from Hopewell High School demonstrated their respect for the military men and women who selflessly served their country by participating in two parades. The Titan Battalion Cadets participated in parades in Huntersville and Charlotte to honor their nation’s veterans. In Huntersville, C/MAJ Lilian Hoblet led the Hopewell JROTC Cadets in the parade despite the drizzling rain and chilly weather. The Cadets showcased their marching skills through the Huntersville Main Street, ultimately earning the title of Best Marching JROTC unit in the Huntersville parade. In Charlotte, NC C/LTC Bayley Schaefer led Hopewell during the parade. Our Cadets sang cadences and stayed “loud and motivated.” Their movements exemplified military discipline and unity taught in the JROTC curriculum. Both parades demonstrated the Hopewell Titan Battalion’s respect for U.S. military veterans.
