The final scholarship awarded is the LU ROTC Room & Board Scholarship which covers the cost associated with the residential halls (dorms) and meal plan!! All three scholarships combined, Jakyra has tuition & fees, room & board, and books paid for all four years of college at Lincoln University. While at LU, Cadet Henderson plans to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. Upon graduation from LU, Cadet Henderson will be commissioned as a U.S. Army Officer at the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
