Sarasota Military Academy Army JROTC from 6th Brigade recently attended the Area 5 District Raider Meet and placed 3rd, qualifying for Raider States, continuing the 15+ year tradition of qualifying for Raider States. This comes after the transition of the team’s 13-year coaches and management. The SMA Raider Mixed team led by RJ Hubman, Gianna Munoz, A’riana Gonzalez, and Keller Button has placed well in all competitions this season. “Winning Raider Districts stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication and collective spirit. Each victory this season has echoed the countless hours of rigorous preparation, shared sacrifices, and unyielding support of our team. The trophies symbolize not just triumph at competitions but a journey of growth, resilience, and unity. The sweet taste of success is not just in the scores but in the bonds and memories created, marking this triumph as a milestone in our shared pursuit of excellence. (quote from Keller Button)”
