Ansbach Cadets Present Quilt of Valor

On September 5th, 2023, a Quilt of Valor was presented to U.S. Army Veteran Mr. Michael Sherman for his dedicated service, sacrifice, and valor. Cadets Lauren Moseley, Harley Woolever, and Seth Henry presented the quilt. Cadet Rylan Aylat narrated the ceremony sharing Mr. Sherman’s military accomplishments. During his time in service, Mr. Sherman, a helicopter pilot,  had three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mr. Sherman retired on June 30, 2017, with more than 40 years of service. Mr. Sherman continues to serve through volunteer work as an American Legion Services Officer assisting Veterans with processing VA disability claims.
