On 12 October 2023, Mililani High School Army JROTC descended on Roosevelt with (7) seven (4) four-person Cadet teams, kicking off the first Army JROTC Raider Event for SY 2023/24 for all Hawaii JROTC schools.

Five events challenging the Cadets including swimming, rescue team challenge, rope-bridge construction, a 1.5 mile campus-run, and casualty carry litter obstacle course.

“Roosevelt High School always leads the way with this event during the fall break for Hawaii schools. They run a top-notch physical challenge, and this will be my last one since I graduate this year,”.
Trojan Raiders Commander, C/CPT Zurell Jackson
“It was good to work with my team, but the competition was really challenging”.
C/CPT Adrianna Diago, Trojan S-8 Finance Officer
“It was fun and challenging. I got to bond a lot with my team that I competed with. Overall it was a great experience, and I think everyone should compete in this event at least once.”
Master Fitness Trainer (MFT), Cadet Master Sergeant (C/MSG) Nyzel Fagaragan
